For customers, that means access to another search method and a clear route to assistance at a stressful time. It does not guarantee that a pet will be found, and every search depends on suitability, weather, airspace and pilot availability.

What is an MGA?
A managing general agent is a firm that arranges and administers insurance on behalf of an insurer, under authority the insurer has given it. MGAs often design and run specialist schemes.
Can Pet Search be offered alongside a pet insurance policy?
It may be possible, as an optional add on or as an included benefit for an agreed group. Any arrangement depends on the agreed proposition and relevant approvals, which we work through with each organisation.
Who actually performs the drone searches?
Professional drone pilots from the Drone Assisted network. Pet Search is the customer facing service and claim route, and Drone Assisted provides the operational capability.
Is every missing pet incident suitable for a drone search?
No. Each request is checked for suitability, taking account of airspace, weather, terrain, site access and pilot availability. Not every request results in a search, and no search can guarantee a pet is found.
Can eligibility rules be agreed for our customers?
Yes. Which customers qualify, and in what circumstances, is agreed before launch.
Can Pet Search carry our branding or integrate with our systems?
Branding and integration needs can be discussed. We would agree an approach with you rather than assume an off the shelf solution.
How is this different from a private drone search?
Pet owners without cover can book a private search directly with Drone Assisted at a published price. That private booking is separate from any distribution arrangement, policy premium or partner terms.
