This notice explains what happens to the information you give Pet Search, and how the free missing pet tools on this site handle the details you enter.

Who we are
Pet Search is a trading style of Monton Group Limited, which is the data controller for information collected through this site. For any privacy question, email partners@petsearch.uk.
Missing pet poster generator
The poster generator runs entirely in your browser. The pet photo you choose, the pet details and any phone number or contact information you type are used to draw the poster on your own device.
Nothing you enter is uploaded to Pet Search, stored on our servers or shared with anyone else. Your photo is resized in the browser only. When you print or save the poster, that file is created by your own device.
Because posters are generated locally and are never stored by us, there are no public poster pages and nothing you create here can be found by a search engine.
Closing or refreshing the poster page clears the details you entered. Keep your own copy of any poster you want to reuse.
Missing pet checklist
The missing pet checklist saves which items you have ticked in your browser using local storage, so your progress is still there if you close the tab. That record stays on your device and is not sent to Pet Search.
The checklist does not ask for your name, address, phone number or any other personal detail. Clearing your browser data removes the saved progress.
Drone search checker
The drone search checker works out its guidance in your browser from the answers you select. The answers are not stored by Pet Search and are not attached to you.
If you then choose to get help, you move to the Pet Search claim and enquiry process, where you enter your details separately and knowingly. Nothing from the checker is submitted automatically on your behalf.
Enquiries and claims
When you submit a partner enquiry or ask for help with a search, we collect the contact details and search information you provide so we can respond, assess whether a drone search is suitable and, where appropriate, pass the search to a qualified pilot within the Drone Assisted network.
We use that information for the purposes of responding to you and delivering the service requested. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and measurement
This site does not set advertising cookies. Where basic measurement is used, it records page views and interactions in aggregate rather than building a profile of you.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Email partners@petsearch.uk and we will respond within one month.
